Trinity Academy of Raleigh equips students to live with wisdom, excellence, and purpose in the modern world by offering an education grounded in the Christian faith and the classical tradition.

We believe that Trinity Academy offers an entirely unique educational experience for families in the Triangle Area because, in partnership with parents, we combine exceptional academic, fine arts and athletic programs with authentic Christianity.

About College Preparatory:

Trinity Academy is not just College Preparatory. Trinity is “Life Preparatory.” Trinity’s program is based upon the classical Liberal Arts and Sciences, which impart the knowledge, skills and virtues necessary to succeed in all of life.

The core curriculum emphasizes the development of critical thinking, writing and public speaking skills, and focuses upon the interrelationship of history, literature, natural science, mathematics, classical and modern foreign languages (K-12), fine arts, religious studies, the linguistic arts of grammar, logic and rhetoric, and physical education.

College preparation begins in Kindergarten. The curriculum and whole-school scopes and sequences are developed by our faculty, with upper school specialists working with lower school teachers in selecting the best curricular materials available to support each individual area of instruction, in keeping with our overall mission as a Christian classical school.

Trinity provides an outstanding college guidance service. 100% of Trinity graduates have been accepted to college. More than 70 colleges and universities, including numerous highly prestigious institutions, have accepted Trinity graduates, and recent graduating classes have received hundreds of thousands of dollars in combined merit scholarships from colleges and universities.

Trinity’s athletic program is “curricular.” We believe that involvement in team sports provides a formative experience for our students that is central to the education we offer, building character, confidence and esprit de corps. The field and court serve as “laboratories,” reinforcing Christian world-and-life-view development. Together, our players, coaches and parents learn how serious competition and Christ-like humility combine to instill godly virtues and develop important life skills.
